From the time he was little, Richard loved engaging with elders and still does! And he’s mature enough to understand your generation, and the kind of fun you might like to have, or conversation you may enjoy.

You get:

• Conversation and Comradery with Joy and Fun

• Client Confidentiality
• Driven anywhere within 50 miles of client’s home, at $5 extra per hour

Experience:

• Elder Companion as a Youth
• Recently Elder Companion until Client entered assisted living
• Trained as a special listener in his church, and has done this volunteer job for many years
• Trained in Emergency First Aid from the time he was on ski patrol to current standing with Fire Station courses
• On Victoria’s Senior Advisory Council and in Friends of the Library

Actual Work Hours:
12 p.m. (Noon) to 8 p.m., Monday – Friday, but you can ask about another times or Saturday if necessary.

Will work up to two days per week, 3 hours per day.

Other Services Available:
1. Fix-up, Upgrade, or Change things around you that are not working the way you like. For example, a chair that keeps snagging your pants.

2. Putting things together that you ordered unassembled (and maybe didn’t even know it – surprise!)

Seriously – anything! Ask and he’ll evaluate it.

3. Watch-Battery Replacement – Believe it or not—for most brands-

4. Anything to help you feel more comfortable in your home or car, and he’ll do his best to fix it.

Fees:
$20 per hour
$40 per hour for “Other Services”

Areas Richard Can Travel to Serve You:
We’re in Victoria, MN, but willing to travel without a fee to:
Eastern Carver County and some Western Hennepin County areas.

Important: Richard will take the time to meet with you for at least one half hour to determine if it’s a good fit for you both before charging any hourly rate.
